We've worked our way up to the Third Eye chakra (Ajna)! This chakra is represented by the color indigo and is located on the forehead, just between the eyebrows. Ajna chakra connects us to our "cosmic insight" or intuition. The Third eye chakra is associated with the pineal glad in the brain, and thus, the regulation of biorhythms, including sleep and wake time. The pineal glad also plays a role in perception and effect of light and altered or “mystical” states of consciousness. It’s positioned close to the optical nerves, and as such, sensitive to visual stimulation and changes in lighting.

Third Eye Connections:

  • Intuition
  • Vision
  • Creativity & Inspiration
  • Wisdom
  • Psychic Abilities

Signs of Imbalance:

  • Feeling stuck in the daily grind without being able to look beyond your problems and set a guiding vision for yourself.
  • Depression and/or Anxiety
  • Sciatica
  • Migraines
  • Rejection of everything spiritual or beyond the usual.
  • Not being able to see the greater picture.
  • Lack of clarity.

Balancing Ajna:

  • Use of essential oils (specifically Frankincense, Clary Sage, Juniper, Rosemary, Sandalwood)
  • Healing stones (Moonstone, Lapis Lazuli, Amethyst, Quartz)
  • Purple Foods (Blueberries, Eggplant, Purple Cabbage, Plums)

Vision Board Workshop & Fire Ceremony

Saturday, February 17

Vision Board Workshop:
5pm-6:30pm

One of our strongest and most often used senses is our sight. We use sight to filter our external world, but it can also be used to manifest our deepest dreams and desires. The quote "keep your eyes on the prize" means more than just looking at what you want. It means using our ability to see clearly or visualize what it is we want and to anchor our intention in a way that helps us accomplish our dreams no matter how big or small!

In yoga the word "drishti" is used to express an experience where one fixates their external gaze on an unmovable point ahead of them. The student or practitioner then softens the gaze on this fixed point and allows awareness to shift inside. By setting our sights on the prize, an immovable point and using awareness to move ourselves forward we are able to manifest what we see and dream into our daily lives!

This workshop is designed to help you create the space for clarity and courage to call in your biggest dreams!

**Magazines, markers, boards, scissors and glue will be provided. Feel free to bring any personal items you wish to use on your vision board.

** There will be a half hour break between vision board and fire ceremony for those who plan to attend both.

Fire Ceremony:
7pm-8pm

This Fire Ceremony is a pause in time; a moment to connect deeply to the purest desires of your heart and to burn away any BS standing between you and your highest self.
Fire is a purifying force but it is also a source of light and warmth.
Happiness. Joy. Gratitude. Freedom. These are all expressions of love and light made more accessible when we temper the truth of our lives with the energy of fire.
This Fire Ceremony will compliment the vision board workshop held in the first portion of our time together. It is designed to honor our intentions and to aid us by purifying our path as we make daily steps towards our dreams!
